Long-running manga series gone anime ‘Berserk’ has today announced its official collaboration with Japanese glass craftsman ガラス野郎 to bring Griffith’s iconic Behelit necklace to life. Flawlessly crafted using pure glass, the necklace is available at a purchasing price of roughly $100 USD.
Set to go on sale March 15, the necklace will be available for a limited-time until October 31. ガラス野郎 rose to his current level of net-fame due to the glass crafting videos that he would upload to Japanese streaming site ‘Nico Nico Douga’. ‘Berserk’ is a long-running fantasy manga published through ‘Young Animal’ and created by Kentaro Miura. The story is set in a Medieval Europe-inspired land, and follows the adventures of Guts, a lone mercenary, as well as Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk.
The Behelit necklace is most identifiable as the necklace worn by Band of the Hawk leader Griffith throughout the series, acting as a major catalyst for the stories progression. Published in the West by ‘Dark Horse Comics’, the series’ original Japanese release was August 25, 1989.
